Elizabeth Strachan Food Safety Training, West Lothian

Food Safety Level 3 (Intermediate Award)

This course is a must for all supervisors/managers who want to learn more about the principles and management of food hygiene in all types of food premises.

The course will cover the following key objectives

  • General introduction
  • Legislation
  • Applying and monitoring good hyiene practices
  • Temperature controls
  • Workplace and equipment design
  • Waste disposal, cleaning and Disinfections
  • Pest Control
  • Personnel Hygiene of staff
  • Contribution to Staff Training
  • Implementation of Safety Management Procedures
  • Food Safety Management Tools

Course Structure and Delivery: The course will be delivered over 3 days, inclusive of the exam. The format of delivery will be by a course tutor and the delivery includes lecture plans, lecture notes, handouts and group exercises.

Delegates will be issued with a food safety book, which will be of value for referencing on his/her return to the workplace.

Fees:  From £275 inclusive of C.I.E.H Food Safety level 3 certificate.
