Overview
The new CIEH Level 1 awards in food safety are run as half-day courses, suitable for a variety of candidates, including new employees with minimal or no prior food safety knowledge, employees handling low-risk or wrapped food or those who work front of house, such as waiting or check out staff, as well as back of house such as kitchen porters or warehouse staff.

The training programme covers the following topics:
Course Structure and Delivery:
The course will be delivered over a half-day session, inclusive of the exam. The format of delivery will be by Elizabeth Strachan the course tutor. The delivery includes course notes, handouts, group exercises and a Food Safety book for the candidate's future reference.

Weekend and night dates can be arranged if required.
Fees: From £35 inclusive of the C.l.EH Food Safety Level 1 certificate.
